Last week someone I know got hit by car.
Traumatic, devasting, not deadly.
But everything will change.
And nothing will change.
Unless you observe how family and
friends rally around, you never know
how many lives you touch.
And yet in the back of their minds
they are counting their blessings
in that way that tragedy brings out
the narcissist in us. So sorry for you.
Glad it wasn’t me or a member of my
family that had their world turned
upside down, inside out.
Perspective we say. You never know.
